Terms and Conditions

The Platform (uniapp.sabis.net) is provided by SABIS Educational Services S.A.L., located in Adma, Lebanon (“SES Leb”, “We”).

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform. By continuing to use the Platform after updates are posted, you accept the revised Terms.

The terms “you”, “your”, “User” or “yours” refer to the user of the Platform. For students below the age of majority, these terms refer to legal guardian. We reserve the full and unconditional right, without any liability, to suspend or terminate a User’s access to the Platform in the event of misuse, security concerns, or any breach of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. The date of the latest revision will be indicated at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. Scope of services

Students enrolled in schools within the SABIS® Network can apply to multiple universities using the Platform. SES Leb’s role is strictly limited to facilitating the submission of applications and related documents to universities through the Platform. SES Leb does not participate in the evaluation, decision-making, or outcome of any application submitted through the Platform.

We make no warranties or guarantees that the Platform will operate without technical issues, interruptions, errors, or delays.

2. Use by Minors

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Platform either under the direct supervision of your legal guardian, or your legal guardian must use the Platform on your behalf. By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms and assumes full responsibility for your use of the Platform.

3. User Responsibilities and Disclaimers

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that your university application is complete, accurate, submitted, received by the university before the official deadline set by the university. This includes ensuring that all required documents are provided and that any applicable application fees are paid in full and on time.
  • During the application process, the school where you are enrolled may be requested to submit supporting documents directly to the university through an automated system. However, it remains your responsibility to confirm that all required documents have been submitted and received by the university on time.
  • SES Leb does not guarantee the successful submission, processing, or outcome of any application made through the Platform.
  • The use of the Platform does not guarantee admission to any university or educational institution.
  • SES Leb and the schools within the SABIS® Network are not responsible for the outcome of any application submitted through the Platform. The relationship regarding the application process is strictly between you (the student or the legal guardian in the event the student is a minor), your school, and the university.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SES Leb, its directors, employees, service providers, and all schools that are members of the SABIS® School Network disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Platform.

4. Intellectual Property and Prohibited Uses

All content on the Platform—including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, HTML code, and trademarks—is the property of SES Leb or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written consent.

You agree not to:

  • Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code to the Platform.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems.
  • Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

SES Leb reserves the right to take legal action in response to any misuse or unauthorized access.

5. Accuracy of Information

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of all information and documents submitted through the Platform. SES Leb does not verify the content submitted by users and disclaims any liability for consequences arising from incorrect, misleading, or incomplete information.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Notice, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Platform, you consent to the processing of your Personal Data as described in the Privacy Notice.

7. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately and change your password.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lebanon.
